1.Terms
RŪ - SIA “Rīgas Ūdens”, registration no. 40103023035, legal address: Zigfrida Annas Meierovica Boulevard 1, Riga.
Principal User - the Customer or a person authorized by the Customer who is entitled to grant and revoke the Additional User status to any third party.
Customer - customer of RU services - natural or legal person.
Customer Portal - RU's online service (www.mans.rigasudens.lv) for remote operations. The Customer Portal provides the following information:
- processing of personal data;
- technical parameters of the connection (object);
- the meter readings submitted;
- bill;
- submitted service applications on the Customer Portal and concluded connection agreements;
- planned outages and repairs;
User Account - An account created for use in the Customer Portal, which can be accessed using access parameters.
User - the Principal User or Additional User of the Customer Portal who has access to the User Account.
Username - The email address used by the User to use to log in to the Customer Portal.
Terms - Customer Portal Terms of Use, as amended and supplemented, published in the 'Customer Portal Terms of Use' section of the Customer Portal.
Services - Services provided by RU, such as installing a new connection, operating meters, and / or using the Customer Portal.
Supplementary User - a natural person who has requested and / or has been granted Supplementary User status.
Password - User-selected password used to log on to the Customer Portal.
Personal data - any information relating to an identified and identifiable natural person.
Access Parameters - User-selected authorization type - via EID card, via Internet Banking or via Username and Password.
Parties - the Customer and RŪ together as parties to the Agreement within the meaning of these Terms.
Application - an application submitted by the Client through the Client's Portal and submitted by the User on behalf of the Client:
- transfer of meter reading;
- submitting a service application;
- entering into a service agreement or amendments thereto;
- conclusion of the connection agreement or amendments thereto;
- signing or certifying other documents related to the service provided by RU;
- Adding or deleting a User on the Client Portal;
- making changes to the Customer's contact information.
Communication channels - text message, e-mail and address according to the mobile phone number, e-mail address and address entered and submitted by the User in the Customer Portal, which shall be used for receiving operative information and remote communication in connection with the service application.
